The first original song Tuck and I had ever collaborated on. It was an instrumental off "8-string 4-tet" that Tuck wrote lyrics to; the beginning of a fun journey together. The first lyrical version appears on Tuck Ryan's first full-length album, "Warmest Blues". Here I expanded the orchestration to suit the 14-piece (or so) orchestra we had for the AMFM studio session weekend. It add subtle emotion to the torture of his lyrics. It feels gentle, mournful yet resentful at the same time. -Andy Mowatt
