As the album turns a deeper direction after "Dark Matter", this introduction to "When The Circus Goes Home" is powerful and dark. Joe Devoy's recitation is emotive and really hits the mood of the lyrics for "When The Circus Goes Home". The orchestra driven arrangement just leaves the listener with an incomplete and uneasy feeling that the following track seems to answer. -Andy Mowatt
